RIVER RALLY FAQs

The River Rally is the Thursday night “gala” event. It will be a fun event where Conference attendees will have a chance to relax, enjoy local food favorites,listen to great music, and mingle with others from the conference.

The River Rally will be held on the campus of the Harley-Davidson Museum® in Chrome. Chrome is the event space that we have secured for the event. A map of the grounds at the museum is below.

There is no dress code for this event; summer casual is what we are suggesting. But come as you are and wear whatever you like, maybe break out your biker wear!

River Rally will begin at 6:30 p.m. and end at 11:00 p.m., with buses running from 6:15 p.m. to the end of the event.

There are three convenient options to get to the River Rally:

Buses will run continuously between the Hilton Hotel and the Harley-Davidson Museum® starting at 6:15 p.m., through the end of the event. Free door to door service!

Ride your motorcycle* to the event! Conference attendees who choose to ride their motorcycle will have VIP parking next to Chrome and one of the outside bars. A map of where to park will be made available to all conference attendees.

Walk to the River Rally. It is just a short 13 minute walk to the River Rally. A map from the hotel to the Harley-Davidson Museum® will be made available to all conference attendees.
*Due to limited parking at the Harley-Davidson Museum®, do not drive your four wheeled “cage” (biker-speak for vehicles).

If you bring your motorcycle to the conference and you want to drive it to the River Rally, please inform the Registration Volunteers upon checking in so that we can ensure there is enough parking for all bike enthusiasts.

If you say “Yes” to going to the River Rally at the time of registration, you will receive a River Rally packet that will include an event map, event information, a wristband, and a museum ticket.

The wristband must be worn the entire time you are at the River Rally. It will have two drink tickets attached for you to use at the event bars.

The ticket must be used to enter the museum if you enter before 8:00 p.m. After 8:00 p.m., the museum is open exclusively for conference attendees and all you will need is the wristband. *If you don’t use your ticket for the entrance to the museum at the River Rally, you can save the ticket as it will be valid up to 90 days after the event.

Yes, there will be plenty to eat and drink at the River Rally in Chrome. The food will be available from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. with coffee/tea and dessert from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Snacks will be available after 9:00 p.m. for anyone who is craving a late night bite. Everyone will be given two drink tickets which will be attached to the wristband and cash bar will be available all evening.

Yes, there will be a DJ and dance floor in Chrome starting at 6:30 p.m. Light music will play as people arrive and socialize and, as the evening progresses, the music will amp up and everyone will have a chance to hit the dance floor.

Yes, the museum will be open to the public from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and then it will be open exclusively for the conference attendees from 8:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.

If you visit the museum before 8:00 p.m., you will need the ticket you were provided with at registration. If you visit the museum after 8:00 p.m., you will be able to enter simply by showing your wristband. For the average person, the museum can take anywhere from 45 minutes to an hour. For an enthusiast, the museum tour could take closer to 1.5 hours. The museum tour also includes The Garage, which will have a traveling exhibit for you to view.
*No Food and Drink is allowed in the museum.

Yes, the museum has what is known as the Jumpstart Rider Experience. For anyone who has ever wanted to know what it is like to ride a motorcycle, you can have that experience by getting on a motorcycle that is securely fastened to a specially-designed stationary support stand. You can rev the engine and shift gears to get a
sense of what it is like to ride a motorcycle without needing a license!

Yes, the museum has a wonderful gift shop where you can stock up on Harley-Davidson Museum® gear or buy souvenirs for friends and family. The ticket that you receive for admission into the museum includes a 10% discount on anything you buy in the store when you spend $25.00 or more. The gift shop will close at 8:30 p.m.

Fun lawn games such as giant Jenga, bag toss, and Connect Four will be available on the lawn behind Chrome.
Photo Booth! Get your picture taken on one of the two stationary motorcycles that will are parked in Chrome.
Take a stroll along the Hank Aaron State Trail that runs between the museum campus and the Menomonee River.

Yes, every Thursday during the summer from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. there is an event called “Bike Night.” This is a local event where Harley riders meet and show off their bikes. The event will be located at the entrance to the museum, but shouldn’t interfere with the River Rally.
Conference attendees are welcome to wander through this event as well and look at the bikes.

Buses will be running continuously between the Hilton Hotel and the Harley-Davidson Museum® between 6:30 p.m. and 11:00 p.m. You can also walk if you would like.
